I got my Ph.D. at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Montreal University in Canada. My B.Sc., and M.Sc. Degree from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, in Mechanical Engineering.

I am an Associate Professor and I have significant experience in condition-based maintenance, machining process control, machining metal matrix composites, optimal replacement, equipment diagnostics and prognostics, knowledge-based training, manufacturing process, maintenance management.

I am a member of many institutes and associations such as lIE, SMRP, ASQ, ESS, ASME, IASP.

I am a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) from SMRP.

I am a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) from ASQ.
